If you have not heard… we have be organising and hosting a Game of Skate Contest in Athens, supported and sponsored by the skate shops and skate community of Athens. There will be a live final where the women’s contest and men’s contest winners will receive equal prize money.
Over the past few months the qualifiers have been played for the men’s contest. The women’s contest took a bit more organising to make sure that the majority to women Athenian skaters were able to participate. Finally, on the 1st May we managed to gather them, including one virtually, in order to host the qualifiers. 12 girls played in the qualifiers, 6 made it to the final event, that will soon be announced.
